Product documentation
Checking fireplace model names and technical documents
At a glance
Check the product name, internal model and document revision together. Drawings, instructions and test records need to correspond to the product. A photograph or marketing name does not establish technical performance or certification for every model.
Establish the model mapping
For example, STARK is the series, STARK 01 is the individual product and K0134 is its original model. NOVA is a series whose current product is identified by BC404; an individual public number is not yet assigned. Match all three levels when requesting documentation.
Check purpose and revision
Record the document title, date or revision, covered models and intended market. Review the tested sample and scope of a report rather than relying only on a mark on its cover.
Distinguish image types
Original photographs identify appearance; concepts communicate spatial intent; installation records need project context and permission. A concept image is not evidence of a completed installation or tested performance.
Handle missing information
List unresolved specifications or documents and request the relevant versions. Do not turn marketing descriptions into technical specifications without supporting documentation.

Common questions
Does one report cover all products from a brand?
Do not assume so. Check the models and scope explicitly covered by the document.
Why are some numerical specifications absent here?
Only checked information is published at this stage. Model-specific formal documentation is required for numerical specifications and installation requirements.
References and scope
External references illustrate documentation or service communication and may describe overseas markets. They do not establish FINDER model requirements, a commercial affiliation or local regulatory requirements.
